The Dragstrip

Yesterday was opening day for Greer Dragway here in Upstate, SC so i went out with some friends of mine and snapped off a few shots...

i was mainly interested in launching shots of the cars such as the Chevelle lifting the front left tire and my friends GTO with the tires wrinkled...

We've been slacking off...

As you may have noticed, we have all been slacking off... We intend to fix that now, and just as something new here is a shot of my cat using my 50mm f/1.8

as you can probably tell, when wide open the 50mm has a bit of a soft focus look to it... i thought it gave this shot a nice touch.
